Snowpetal gathered all the herbs she needed. Pinenese had offered to help her. "Yes please." She said. Shw was glad that Maple Clan was an ally to Silver Clan. They had strong cats.
ReplyDeleteThankful for Mapleclan's help, I called for my cats to all climb trees. We balely made it up in time before Oceanclan bounded into the clearing. I was trying out a new battle technique used by the ancient clan Thunderclan. "WHERE ARE THEY?!?!?" Screeched Birdstar. I waited for the perfect moment, then yowled "ATTACK!!!" Cats leaped into the air and skidded down tree trunks to invade the cats. Oceanclan and Swiftclan leaped backward, but was too late. My strategy had worked!! Then, I glimpsed a dark figure crouching behind me. I spun around to see the dark eyes of Birdstar. "You're dead, Amberstar. You're dead." Then he lunged. Away from the rest of the battle, only Ripplestar saw me take down Birdstar with a single blow. Ripplestar bolted to help, and bit into my flesh. teeth met bone on my spine, while Birdstar dug his claws into my face. I wriggled and fought all I could, and a few times got in a good scratch. But more enemy cats piled on top of me. One blow to the head knocked me out cold, and as I fell into unconsiousness,I knew it was true. This was it. I was going to die.
ReplyDeleteAt the signal, Ivywing leaped over a young apprentice. The flung herself at the first Swift Clan cat she got to. The tortoiceshell yowled in rage. Ivywing jumped onto the back of the cat and pummeled her hind legs into the cat's spine. The cat dropped and rolled. Ivywing jumped off as the cat did. The cat quickly turned around and swiped Ivywing's muzzle. All of a sudden, another cat leaped on top of her. Her front paw twisted. She collapsed and yowled in pain!
ReplyDeleteI saw Amberstar become unconsious and heard Ivywing cry for help. Who would I go to first? I knew there was nothing I could do to help Amberstar. She was already losing her life. It was her first life she lost, thank Star Clan! I hurried over to Ivywing. She had lost consiousness. I called to Scarletfoot. "Help me bring Ivywing over to the shelter!" Pinenose and I had found a cave in which we put our herbs in. It was much safer for the injured cats too. Scarletfoot and I dragged Ivywing to the cave. Once there Scatletfoot darted back outside while I tended to Ivywing. She had a scratch on her muzzle. She also had broken her paw. I put some marigold on her muzzle and bound her leg with comfrey and cobweb.
ReplyDelete"AMBERSTAR!" I saw her bleeding body being torn apart and thrown about by the mob of cats. Amberstar had all of her lives, but how many was she going to lose on this one battle? I knew Amberstar was a great hunter, and a phenomenal fighter, but no one except for Masterclaw could fight off such a huge mob. Where WAS he, anyway? Probably op in the stupid mountains again. THE NERVE OF THAT GUY! Anyway, I started pulung the cats of my leader and ripped the leaders off too.Amberstar lay there, her body ripped open on the grass, blood pooled around her. "amberstar......... AMBERSTAR!!!!!!!!" Amberstar probably like Tigerstar did, with horrible wounds he lost all his lives at once. I greived and wailed in agony. My leader. My hero. DEAD FOREVER. I quickly pulled Amberstar's body out of the clearing and under a bush. I could't stay long. The battle was still underway!!
ReplyDeleteLeafpaw saw Ivywing leap over her and throw herself at a Swift Clan cat. There was no time for watching. Leafpaw turned around and found herself face to face with Moonpaw. "Lets take them down!" She said! "Yeah!!!" Moonpaw replied! They turned and threw themselves at a Ocean Clan apprentice. He was totally taken off guard as Leafpaw and Moonpaw pushed him over! Leafpaw laughed. He looked so funny!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to cry. "What about me?" I called to Leafpaw and Moonpaw. They looked at me in digust and went on fighting. I sighed. I had a crush on Leafpaw, but she was best friends with Moonpaw, so it never worked out between us. I decided to see if Amberstar needed help. Wouldn't Leafpaw be impressed if I fought with a leader? But Amberstar wasn't there. Where WAS she?

ReplyDeleteI hissed and leapt at an Ocean Clan warrior. He hadn't expected me and i took him down easily. "Dont mess with SILVER CLAN!!!!!!!" I hissed in his ear. He let out a yowl of pain as I scraped my unsheated claws down his flank. He ran off back to his camp. Leafpaw and I then attacked an Ocean Clan apprentice together. I saw Greypaw looking at Leafpaw. "You know Greypaw likes you?" I told Leafpaw. "He MOONS over you." I looked around for Amberstar. She was battling Birdstar and Ripplestar. I yowled to all the Silver Clan apprentices and we dived to help Amberstar. "GET OF OUR LEADER!!!!!!!" I screached. I attacked Birdstar and raked my claws over his ears. He tried swatting me away but i was to quick. I heard Moonfur yowl wildly. "AMBERSTAR!!!!" At that point I knew she was dead. I expected to fell sadness wash over me. But instead I only felt rage. I flung myself at Ripplestar and bit down hard on her neck. She let out a yowl and fell limply to the ground. I looked at Leafpaw who was looking back at me with wide eyes. "I..I didnt mean to kill her!" I stepped away from the battle in time to see the Silver Clan's newest warrior Tigereyes looking at me. She dipped her head and yowled over the thrashing of the battle, "COME WITH ME MOONPAW!! WE CAN WIN THIS BATTLE IF WE FIGHT TOGETHER!!!!" I didnt know what to say. Tigereyes was a brilliant warrior. I ran with her as we launched ourselves back into battle.
ReplyDeleteI nailed my eyes to Rockfall, the deputy of Ocean Clan. When Amberstar gave the signal to attack, I racked my claws wildly along his belly fur. Blood spattered on the ground as the deputy tried to fight back. An Ocean Clan warrior saw what was happening and leaped onto my back. I used my broad shoulders which I had inherited from Tigerstar to push him off. I spun around to attack the warrior but he was lying very still on the grass. I went to turn back to Rockfall but he had disappeared. I saw Scarletfoot fighting with Firetree. Oh how i hated him. That was another thing I had inherited from Tigerstar...his ambition. I saw Moonpaw looking at the Ocean Clan leader who was lying still on the ground. I saw her look at me and I dipped my head. This was a cat I could work with. "COME WITH ME MOONPAW!!" I yowled to her. "WE CAN WIN THIS BATTLE IF WE FIGHT TOGETHER!!! I saw her hesitate as if she was thinking about it, the she raced up to me. "Lets go." She said determidly.
ReplyDelete"LEAFPAW!!!" We had both broken away from the battle. "Leafpaw, please, I-" "Go away, furbrain!! You sicken me!" I new this wasn't right. "LEAFPAW!! LISTEN TO ME!" She didn't meet my gaze. "WHAT?" "I don't know why you're mad at me, why you hate me, or why you never speak to me!" Leafpaw looked up, surprised. "All I ever wanted was to be your friend Leafpaw! I just wanted to be friends with the sweetest, most wonderful cat I ever met!!" I had heard Moonpaw tell Leafpaw many times that I liked her,(The traitor!) but Leafpaw wouldn't believe me unless I told her directly. "Greypaw...I-" A Swiftclan warrior pounced on me, so I had to fling myself into battle. Later, Leafpaw and I met again. "Greypaw, I am-" Again, we were interupted. Moonfur was bolting toward us and skidded to a halt in front of me. "What are you standing around for?!? FIGHT!" And again, I started to battle. I was against a burly Oceanclan warrior. He was tough. Soon, Leafpaw was beside me. "Let's go, Greypaw!" she said, and winked. We battled straight into the night. Moonpaw pelted toward us saying "Hey Leafpaw! Where have you be-" She stopped mid sentence as she saw me and Leafpaw battling side by side."TRAITOR!!" She screams at Leafpaw. "FUZZBRAIN! KITTYPET!!I THOUGHT WE HAD A DEAL!!" Then she turned and walked off. Leafpaw did one last swipe at the warrior and sent him running for home. "Greypaw-" she began, but I stopped her. "What deal, Leafpaw? One to never speak to me? One to always shout insults and avoid me?!?" Greypaw!" Leafpaw's eyes filled with tears. "Please! let me explain!" "Not to me, you won't!" I said, and stalked off. I heard Leafpaw wailing softly with grief behind me, but I walked on.

ReplyDeleteI saw Greypaw talking softly to Leafpaw. This was no time for romance! "Greypaw! Get into battle! NOW!" He did. Where was Amberstar? A wave of grief washed over me as I remmbered she had lost all of her nine lives. "AMBERSTAR!" I wailed aloud. Then I saw him. "Oh...." He was dead. My handsome, wonderful mate. Dead. I wailed louder than any cat had before. "SSHHAADDOOWWCCLLAAWW!!!!!!!" I turned and stormed toward Snowpetal. "I HATE YOU!! WHY DIDN'T YOU SAVE SHADOWCLAW, YOU FUZZBRAIN!" "There was nothing I could do. I am SO sorry." She looked so sincere that I had to give in. "Sorry." I said. I took Shadowclaw's body down to the bush where I had laid Amberstar. "Goodbye, beloved..." I whispered the words. "Our kits will miss you..." Then I noticed something. Amberstar was gone.

I stalked off back into the midst of the battle aware of Leafpaw's gaze following me. Tigereyes was waiting for me at the edge of the battle. She dipped her head to me. "If you want to succeed in life you must only have a few close friends." She meowed. My claws scraped the ground. "She betrayed me!! I thought she was my friend!!" I meowed angrily. "You thought wrong." I felt Tigereyes breath on my ears. "She will pay a hefty price." I growled.
ReplyDeleteI growled confidently as I watched the fight between Moonpaw and Leafpaw. If Moonpaw wanted to lead Silver Clan one day she must erase every cat that is loyal to Amberstar. I watched Moonpaw stalk towards me with a look of hunger in her eyes. "If you want to succeed in life you must only have a few close friends." I meowed. Her claws scraped the ground. "She betrayed me!! I thought she was my friend!!" She meowed angrily. "You thought wrong." I breathed into her ear. "She will pay a hefty price." Moonpaw growled. I felt a prick of satisfaction as Moonpaw looked at me. She will be a great warrior. I thought...but an even greater leader.
ReplyDeleteI watched as Moonpaw and Tigereyes discussed something I couldnt hear. But with each word Tigereyes spoke, Moonpaw's eyes grew hungrier. Not the hunger when you are about to eat prey. But the hunger of ambition. I shivered. What would Moonpaw and Tigereyes do to complete their ambition?? Ever since Tigereyes had come to the clan Moonpaw had changed. Either she was going off with her somewhere or acting strange. Tigereyes looked over at him. He froze. They had seen him!! Moonpaw stalked over to him. "KEEP OUT OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!! She screeched and launched herself at him. None of his clanmates were watching apart from Tigereyes who was watching with a contempt look on his face. As I writhed underneathe Moonpaw I couldn't help thinking, they say that Silver Clan are the clan of loyalty and trust. But are ALL the cats really loyal?

ReplyDeleteI launched back into the battle with Tigereyes right beside me. She looked at me and then flicked her tail at a young Ocean Clan warrior. I bit down on the warriors neck and Tigereyes pummled his belly. He fell limply to the ground and I ran back into the battle. I scratched, bit and yowled in fury all throughout the battle. When the battle came to an end and Swfit Clan and Ocean Clan had retreated, Greaypaw padded over ot me. "I saw what you did!!" He hissed. "You cant prove ANYTHING!!" I hissed back at him. "Soon you will DIE under my claws." I muttered darkly. "but im to 'innocent' to do that. I can do NOTHING wrong." I meowed sarcasticly.I made my eyes as big as possible. "Get away from me Greypaw. Or you will suffer!!" I almost launched at him but I stopped myself just in time. I couldn't attack him here, not when all my clanmates were watching. All of a sudden Snowpetal called out "HAS ANYBODY SEEN AMBERSTAR??"

ReplyDeleteI couldn't believe Leafpaw! I thought she was my friend for once! Well, considering what I told you last time, I don't think it will ever work out. I mean COME ON!! A deal to betray me!? ACCEPTED?!?! I also thought of Amberstar. I and Moonfur were the only ones who knew she was dead. Then I heard Snowpetals's cry "HAS ANYBODY SEEN AMBERSTAR?!?!" Moonfur looked at me expectantly. I shook my head, so she went to Snowpetal and told her the news. Then I realized something else. "Where's my mentor?" Moonfur, who looked calm but sad before, jumped as if startled. She looked at me her eyes as big as rabbits. "Yeah, where IS Shadowclaw?" A few other cats questioned too. Snow petal slunk away, but Moonfur started to wail. "HE'S DEAD!" She screamed in agony. "DEAD!" 3 cats dead?!? I started to wail. My mentor. Leafpaw bounded over to me but I pushed her away. "GO AWAY!"
ReplyDeleteI led a small group of cats to where I laid the bodies. "There's Shadowclaw, and there's-" I gasped. "What's wrong?" asked Leafpaw, still sad about Greypaw being mad at her. "AMBERSTAR'S BODY IS GONE!!!!" I screeched. Everyone started talking at once. "Where did it go?" "IT?!? Are you crazy?"
ReplyDelete"OCEANCLAN OR SWIFTCLAN STOLE HER!" "YEAH!!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs "I AM NOT LEADER, BUT ARE YOU WITH ME?" All the cats chorused in unison. "YES!" We raced to the clearing and yowled to the two other clans "YOU STOLE OUR LEADER'S BODY!! YOU WILL PAY!!" I signaled my tail, and we flew down the hill and into the enemy group of cats. The battle was horrendous. Many were injured, so Snowpetal was healing right and left. Pinenose helped her though. We battled unto sunup, then the battle started to die away....
I stared at Greypaw. I wanted to tell him sorry, but he told me to go away. I quickly darted in front of him and said "Greypaw I'm sorry and I like you to!!!"

A deal is a CHOICE!" Leafpaw started to choke on tears. I only glared at her and walked to find a cat to fight. But there were no more cats. SILVERCLAN HAD WON! Then I remembered the Deaths. Maybe we had lost, too. Then there was a frightened cry of "LOOK!" A shadow of a strong, muscular, obviously dangerous cat was crossing the clearing. Then Snowpetal started weeping. With joy! Standing there at the top of the hill was...... I screeched with glee."AMBERSTAR!"
ReplyDeleteIt was Amberstar! I couldn't belive it! Was I dreaming? I cautiously stepped toward her. "Moonfur..." she purred. Then the questions started bursting out of my mouth, but Amberstar's sweet voice stopped me. "Let's go back to camp. I'll tell you then." Wearily, I stopped to talk to Fernstar. "We'll tell you the story later. Thanks again for helping us." "No problem" she meowed softly, then signaled for her clan to follow her away to Mapleclan Territory. As we trudged back to camp, Leafpaw stayed by my side. She seemed upset. "What's wrong?" I cooed. "I-I like Greypaw," she replied. "So? isn't that a good thing? I heard he likes you back." Leafpaw started to cry. "HearD is the key word. now, he hates me." I felt bad for the little cat. "Well, I guess-" We were interrupted by the kits who were left at the camp. "YAY!! THEY'RE HOME!!!"
ReplyDeleteIt was time to tell my story. I stood on the Highbranch and explained. "Yes, I was under a mob of enemy cats, and by the time the apprentices and Moonfur saved me, I had lost three whole lives. Since my body was torn in half, Moonfur thought I had lost all nine lives, just like Tigerstar. If you didn't know, Tigerstar was a great enemy to our ancestors. Tigerstar had lost all nine lives not to the fatal blow, but to the fact that he wasn't the right leader. He had stolen it from someone else. Anyway, since I was the rightful leader, I only lost three. Moonfur took me to under a bush, but didn't see me wake for I had three lives lost to recover from.When Shadowclaw died and was left under the same bush, I woke up. I realized what had happened, so I left to find the battle. I was too weak to fight, so I went to rest. That is when Moonfur came to show you my body. Then you attacked the two other clans for stealing me. You fought so hard, they gave up quickly. It was your mistake that saved us all. I am so proud of all of you." Then, I hopped off the branch, slipped into my den, and fell fast alseep.
ReplyDeleteAmberstar, we are very glad that you are alive and have only lost 3 lives. We mourn because of those lost lives, but are glad to see you up and about once more. SILVERCLAN LIVES ON!!!!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteI went back to the apprentice's den after the battle. I was so depressed. Greypaw wouldn't even look at me! When he told me that I was wonderful I realized that I liked him too! I wish he would understand that I was sorry and I was wrong to take that deal with Moonpaw. I really want him to like me back!!!!
