I walked into the training hollow with my apprentice Earthpaw, Leafwing and her apprentice Waterpaw and Jadepelt with her apprentice Lilypaw. "Leafwing! Jadepelt! Do you think we should practice with our apprentice's first?" "Sure." Jadepelt said. "It would be a better way to start the session off." We each split away from each other with our apprentices to practice some moves. "Okay Earthpaw, first of all i'm going to show you my favourite move. It's very advanced so it may take time to master." Earthpaw nodded. I ran up to her and juped into the air to land squarly on her back with my claws sheated. "GET OFF ME!" Earthpaw laughed. I jumped off her and she collapsed on the ground. "WOW! THAT WAS A GREAT MOVE!!" She said. I purred my thank you. "Just remember to have your claws sheated in practice." Earthpaw looked guilty as she noticed that she had gotten so caught up in the rift of battle that her claws had unsheated. "Don't worry." I told her. "Just be careful in the future." After a short break we started again. "See here." I told her. "This part of your leg has a long tendon in it that when you poke it like this." I poked her leg and she collapsed to the ground. "You'll fall to the ground." She stood up in awe. "Moontail are you ready yet?" Called Leafwing. "Yes!" We walked over to Jadepelt and Leafwing. I think we should put Lilypaw and Earthpaw against each other first." Jadepelt said. Leafwing nodded and sat down with Waterpaw. Jadepelt and I sat with each other to watch our apprentices clearly. Earthpaw launched herself at Lilypaw and Lilypaw ducked underneath her. Lilypaw got a good nip on her ear. Earthapw jumped onto her back, almost perfecting the moveIa gave her, and then jumping off and poking her tendon. "Wow!"Jadepelt said. "Did you teach her that?" Yes but I didn't think about putting the moves together like that. Probably because i'm not as quick as her." Jadepelt flicked her ears to show she heard and we turned back to watch. Earthpaw had one paw on Lilypaw's back and was meowing triumphantly. "I WIN!!" She squeled happily. "Not for long!" Lilypaw laughed and sat on top of her. "Okay! I think Lilypaw and Waterpaw should fight next. I nodded sitting down with Earthpwa after Lilypaw had hopped off of her. (Jadepelt and Leafwing can write about their apprentices fight.)
ReplyDeleteI took Waterpaw over to the trees. "OK, so, a trick that the acnient Thunder Clan tought us is climbinng trees then falling on our enemy. Like this." *I climbed up the tree and then at the right moment I leaped down on top of Waterpaw, Just missing by a couple inches* "WOW!!!" He said. "Can I try?" "Sure." He climbed the tree and then, when I walked right below him, he jumped on top of me. I knew he was doing it biut I didn't ezpect that much force. "Now that you have it down, Here is what you can do, With Lillypaw, knock her over, then as fast as you can climb the tree. When she starts looking around for you, jump on her. But remember to keep your claws sheathed."
ReplyDeleteI saw Lillypaw collapse after Earthpaw poked her tendon. 'I have to remember that' I thought. "Ok Waterpaw, it's your turn." I said.
As the fight started, Waterpaw did ecxatcly what I told him. Ecxept, When He knocked Lillypaw over, he used that tendon that Earthpaw used. Lillypaw Squeeked in surprise and collapsed-AGAIN. Waterpaw started dashing toward the trees and scrambled up the closest one. When Lillypaw got up, she started walking to the spot where she saw Waterpaw run off to. When she was directly under him, he jumped off and landed on her. Olny she didn't do what I thought she would. She spun around from under him, and them Leaped on Waterpaw who was still trying to figure out which way was down. "I WIN!!!" She exclaimed.
Earthpaw gasped when Waterpaw used my trick to with the tendon to make Lilypaw collapse. "That's my move!" She said angrily. "No it isn't Earthpaw. It was a good idea for him to do that. And besides he's your brother and I would hate for a little argument to seperate you." Earthpaw looked at me as she realized how much the words hurt me. "Did you have a brother?" She asked. "Yes, when I was a rouge with my mother. He was killed by the fox that killed her. All of my family was. Apart from me of course." I looked into the sky and wondered if my brother -Pebble- was up their in StarClan. "How come he hated you?" Earthpaw asked." "Well one day in leaf-bare we we're running around the thunderpath. I dared him to cross it. He was only half way over when the monster crossed his path. He was frightened out of his fur and blamed me for it happening." I looked at Earthpaw and purred. "I was young then and I didn't think it was a big deal. Next me and Pebble had a huge fight with claws and all. The last thing he ever said to me was that he hated me." I looked away in distress. "Oh why did Pebble AND mother have to die!!" I wailed. Earthpaw pushed up against me to comfort me. "This time shouldn't be about me." I told her. Come on lets perfect that tendon move and see what else we can do with it." I was glad I had managed to talk Earthpaw out of the fight with Waterpaw. If only the same thing hadn't happened to Pebble and me.
